At Playstation by Rush, we believe little ones deserve big adventures. Our park is designed for children to play, explore and enjoy themselves in a safe, happy space — while parents can relax knowing they are in good hands.

Many of our guests visit us for everyday play, special outings and birthday celebrations. But there are children who rarely get the chance to enjoy a day like this. By partnering with the Sporting Chance Development Foundation, we can help bring more of those children into a space made just for them.

Who is the Sporting Chance Development Foundation?

For more than 30 years, the Sporting Chance Development Foundation has been helping young lives grow through sport. Their work supports children in under-resourced communities across South Africa, giving them the chance to play, learn and build confidence in a safe and structured way.

As a registered NPO, Sporting Chance creates supervised programmes where children are introduced to different sports and activities in an environment that is fun, encouraging and full of energy. Along the way, they learn valuable skills like teamwork, discipline, respect and resilience.

The organisation works closely with schools, communities and local partners to reach children who may not otherwise have access to proper facilities or coaching. Their coaches and facilitators help each child feel supported, included and ready to take part.

Most importantly, Sporting Chance gives children something special to look forward to — a chance to be active, to have fun and to experience the joy that comes from play.

The Current Challenge

We want to welcome these children regularly, not just once off. The biggest challenge is getting them here safely and reliably. For many of the little ones, transport is what stands between them and a day filled with laughter, activity and play.

Every cent goes directly towards transport costs that help children from Sporting Chance programmes visit our park. Together, we can turn an ordinary family outing into something truly special for a child who needs it most.
