The short version. Our crew are trained to international lifeguarding standards and watch the floor the whole time. Equipment is checked daily, logged digitally and independently inspected. Trained first aiders are on the floor at every session. Here’s how it works.

How we supervise every session

What keeps little ones safest is how closely they’re watched, so we built our supervision on international lifeguarding gold standards. We staff every session so our crew can scan their zone within 10 seconds and reach any child within 20, and we add crew as the park gets busier. All play happens under the watchful eye of a fully trained crew. Watching well is the whole job.

Checked, logged and independently inspected

Every piece of equipment runs through daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly checks, preventative upkeep and immediate fixes both, each one signed off by a Park Manager or Supervisor and logged digitally. Our play equipment and impact surfacing are built and maintained in line with the South African playground safety standard (SANS 51176) and European best practice (EN 1176), and the park is independently inspected, including impact testing of fall zones.

If a little one gets hurt: what actually happens

Because we spot things in seconds, care starts fast. Trained first aiders are on the floor at every session, and for anything more serious we have standing agreements with local private ambulance services. We keep you informed throughout, and every incident, however small, is written up and reviewed each quarter.

The people looking after your kids

We hold our team to high standards: all crew members complete safeguarding training and are vetted through standard police background checks. Our leadership hold advanced first aid, we train first aiders in-house, and refresh that training every month. The marshals on your court know exactly what they’re doing.

Before you play

Our crew give a quick, friendly safety briefing before play starts. Simple rules keep the floor safe: grip socks on, long hair tied, jewellery off, and follow the crew.

Active play carries some risk, we won’t pretend otherwise, but this is a managed space built around your child’s safety: crew watching every second to a lifeguarding standard, checked equipment, first aiders on the floor, and a written follow-up on every incident.

It’s standard for any play venue. It makes sure you understand active play carries risk, and it lets our crew act fast to help your child in a medical situation. It doesn’t remove our duty to run a safe, well-watched park.

We’d gently say the opposite. Little ones need to move, climb and explore, and here they get that freedom in a place built and watched to keep them safe, while you get a proper break with a good coffee.

The honest bit

We won’t tell you nothing ever goes wrong, because that’s not true of any play space. What we will tell you is that we’ve built this park and trained this crew to make problems rare and handle them well: close eyes, checked equipment, trained first aiders, honest follow-up.

About the waiver

Quick to sign online before you arrive or on the day. A parent or legal guardian signs for under-18s. It sets out the risks of active play plainly and lets our crew give emergency first aid if needed.
