Playstation by Rush CSI Initiatives

At Playstation by Rush, our CSI initiatives are all about giving more children the chance to play, explore and just be kids in a safe, exciting environment. We believe that play is a powerful part of childhood development, helping little ones learn, build confidence and make new friends while they’re having fun. By supporting causes and projects that uplift children, we extend the joy of our indoor playpark beyond our own walls and into the communities that need it most.

As an indoor playpark dedicated to little explorers, we see every day how much happiness and growth can come from simple moments of play. Our CSI efforts focus on opening up those experiences to children who might not otherwise have access to spaces like ours, whether through sponsored visits, special events or partnerships with child-focused organisations.

When we invest in playful, positive spaces for kids, we help build brighter futures – one giggle, game and adventure at a time.

Our Partnership With Restoring Hope

Since June 2020 we have been working closely with Restoring Hope to uplift the local community

Restoring Hope is a non-profit organisation established in 2015 by Devin Frans and Mikhail Kroutz, two young men optimistic about the future and determined to bring about positive change and hope to previously disadvantaged communities. The group now has seven core members, who are working and studying but manage to juggle a schedule around everyone’s ‘free’ time. They carry out a feeding relief scheme and other intervention programmes within the Victoria Lodge and Cafda Village communities in Southfield, assisted by an additional 30 volunteers who help them tackle challenges that face this community on a daily basis.

One of the greatest needs within the community is the support, mentorship and education of children which is why the ‘Kids Fellowship Program’ was started. This to provide development structure to children ages 2 to 18. The program provides a platform for kids to understand how they can reach their full potential through learning, engagement and expressing themselves through various life skills and recreation activities.

An important part of the Program includes a meal for the community which is lovingly prepared by our chefs every Wednesday to give over 100 people a warm, hearty meal every week.

Our Partnership With Sporting Chance

Many of our guests visit us for everyday play, special outings and birthday celebrations. But there are children who rarely get the chance to enjoy a day like this. By partnering with the Sporting Chance Development Foundation, we can help bring more of those children into a space made just for them.

This partnership is a natural fit because it opens the door for more children to enjoy active play in a safe and welcoming environment. We know that transport is often the biggest challenge, especially for families and communities with fewer resources. By working together, we can help remove that barrier and make more visits possible.
